  Adjetive, Adverb and Noun Clauses I s importan, f irstly, to state the simple difference between the two types of clauses which are the Independent Clause and the Dependent Clause.  Independent Clause is the part of the sentence that can stand by itself and the Dependent Clause can not .  Now, the clauses formed by dependent and independent clauses:  *An adjetive clause: Is a clause that describes a noun or a pronoun. For example: - The dog,  which my sister adopted, was beautiful.  -  I visited Puerto viejo last year,  where I met new friends . *An adverb clause: Is a clause that modifies a verb, an adjetive or an adverb.   For example:  - I couldn't go because It was raining too much.  - My homework will be ready, as soon as I understand the topic .  *A Noun Clause: Is a clause used as a noun. It can be also use in the next different ways: as a sibject, direct object, indirect object, object or a preposition and a predicate noun. For example: - I dream that I won the lott

  ADVERBS W hat an  adverb is? is a word that can  describes a verb, an adjetive and even another adverb.  The adverbs can provide us some information so indicate how, where, when, how much and the frecuency.   Let´s see some examples in each one:  How: carefully- slowly- badly- fast- quickly Where: behind- below- back- abroad- down When: yesterday- soon- tomorrow- yet- tonight  How Much: fairly- quite- entirely- very- rather How Often: frecuently- sometimes- normally- seldom- never Getting a little bit deeper, adverbs can be divided into two different categories. Let´s see... * When an adverb is use to modify verbs, adjetives and phrases. Example: He walk slowly.   *When an adverb is use to modify sentences Example: Carefully, they did the homework.   Cause and/or Effect Sentences 1- Because of the pandemic , many people have lost their jobs. 2- The necessity of social distancing around two meters is due to the high levels of virus spread in Costa Rica. 3- The increase in cases of COVID in Costa Rica by people who become infected certainly affects health services. 4- Wrong use of the facial mask in public spaces is one of the causes of rapid spread of the disease. 5- Younger and adults citizens take care of themselves and follow the cleaning protocol every time they come back home. As a consequence , the high-risk population group who are elderly people are keeping save.
